The chairman of the party in the council area Enugu, told reporters that "the thugs stormed with notocycles and started firing at random. According to the report; the thugs were up to 20 in numbers with guns machetes. This attacked occured  Agwu town in Enugu state around 6 pm in the evening which left many people injured and some feared death. Eyewitnesses said many people were wounded, at least 17 people or more. 

The even took place on 4th September 2022, and this was the 15th edition of the award ceremony. There was showcase of culture, and electrifying musical perfomances. The like of singers like; Wizkid, Davido, burna boy, Flavour etc won multiple awards. Wizkid particular won 5 awards. Davido won 2 awards also. Burna boy won "African artiste" and "best male artiste" of the year. Buju (BNXN) won Next Rated Award beating Ruger and some other artiste. Remember prior to this award, Buju had an online fight with Ruger.Singer BNXN played the bigger person during his acceptance speech for Next Rated artiste at the Headies Award ceremony. Laila had initially separated from Ned due to series of untold stories from both parties. Some said it was because of Daniel the last wife which caused a lot of bridges between him and other wives.
